Steve graduated from Baylor University in December of 1981 with a BBA in management. He entered the mortgage business as a retail loan officer in May of 1982 and worked as a loan officer for the next 13 years before joining PNC Mortgage as a regional manager. Not only does Steve have a passion for the mortgage business, but he is also passionate about recruiting and building regional markets. These include key markets located in the East Division such as Texas, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kansas, Pennsylvania and others. Steve feels that UHM’s passion for the mortgage business and strong corporate culture will help assist in his efforts to grow these new markets. Steve looks forward to expanding the footprint of UHM in the East Division. Steve has been married to his wife, Melaina, for over 30 years and has three grown children Amy, Jonathan and Micah. Not only is Steve passionate about his family, he is also very passionate about the Boston Red Sox and his life-long love of baseball.
