After growing up in Port Huron, Michigan, and graduating from Western Michigan University with his bachelor’s in Business Administration and minor in Business Management. Mark began his career in mortgage lending in 1992. Mark is familiar with a wide variety of loan programs from First Time Homebuyers to Down Payment Assistance programs. Mark loves to say "There is always a way to get it done and he's going to be the one to do it."
Mark has found a passion for helping individuals and families achieve the dream of homeownership, even when thought it was never possible. Others describe Mark as the type of man that would stop on side of the road to help you fix a flat tire and send you on your way!
Beyond his career, Mark is also married to April Bynum, who is also a Union Home Mortgage Loan Officer! Together, April & Mark have three wonderful children: Gabby, Luca, & Eloise! Family is the cornerstone of his life and he actively supports his children’s passions, from Gabby recently getting married, Luca’s love for golf, and tennis to Eloise’s passion for softball and volleyball. When Mark and his family aren’t busy with the children’s active life, they will escape to their vacation home in Fort Meyers or their cozy cottage in Glennie, Michigan!
