With 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, John has built a career rooted in leadership, mentorship, and client-focused service. Having served as a branch manager at every company he's been a part of, he has trained and mentored numerous loan officers—many of whom have gone on to become branch managers themselves. His passion lies in developing future leaders and ensuring every client is educated and supported throughout the home loan process.
Before entering the mortgage world, John was a successful entrepreneur, owning three 7-Eleven stores and a grocery store. One night, he decided to take a leap of faith, applying for a loan officer/branch manager position with a company looking to expand in the area. That bold decision launched a fulfilling career that continues to impact clients and colleagues alike.
Deeply involved in the Fredericksburg community, John is an active member of the Fredericksburg Area Builders Association, Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors, Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank. He also spent years coaching youth and high school sports until his sons went to college.
Beyond work, John enjoys hunting, golf, fishing, and gun collecting, but nothing compares to his love for family. He and his wife, Tammy, have worked side by side in the mortgage industry for 30 years and counting. They have three sons and are proud grandparents to two granddaughters and one grandson.
A lifelong Spotsylvania resident, John takes great pride in serving his hometown and helping families achieve their dreams of homeownership.
