Born and raised in Ohio, Eric brings that steady, hardworking Midwestern mindset to every client he works with. He’s a loyal (and long-suffering) Cleveland Browns fan as well.
Eric joined Union Home Mortgage about a year and a half ago, where he continues doing what he’s always done best: making the mortgage process feel clear, comfortable, and straightforward. Outside of work, Eric is a proud dad to three daughters. When he’s not helping clients, you’ll likely find him out on the boat or spending time with his family- because at the end of the day, that’s what home is really about.

When we asked for advice throughout the process, he offered his opinion, while he was VERY clear that we should not just blindly follow his thoughts to our inquiries it was very helpful to help have conversations within our family and speak to other people we know for their opinions. I am very thankful to have had him alongside us and hope that we work with him more in the future if we need anything else.

I was in a very difficult loan situation, with being self-employed. The bank I was dealing with would not budge without a certain tax return that simply wasn't available and after 5 months of dealing with them my time was running out. After contacting Eric at UHM I was presented with other options and within a few weeks he was able to close the loan. I will be working with him in the future.

I cold called Eric late on a Thursday night after my fiance and I visited the house we knew we wanted. Without hesitation, Eric took my call, took our info, and had our pre approval ready to go by the time we made the 40 minute drive home. He then spent another 30 some minutes on the phone with us that night explaining everything we needed to know before getting an offer out quickly. Since, Eric has made a very daunting process extremely manageable for my fiancé and I as first time home buyers. We felt very informed and in control throughout the entire process. Eric went out of his way to save costs for us several different times. He’s honestly so responsive I’m tempted to make him my emergency contact. 10/10 experience!
